Movement Joint Creation
- HeliBar A 400mm HeliBar is installed across the newly cut joint, as with cracks, but is only bonded at one end. The other end is allowed to move freely by inserting it into a sleeve which is then bonded into the masonry.
- DryFix Stainless steel, 8mm DryFix ties are installed up either side of the joint at a vertical spacing of not more than 300mm centres.
