C-Tec Cutting Cowl

C-Tec dust control guards ensure dust free concrete cutting, chasing and brick raking / pointing.

The C-Tec design comprises a one-piece welded steel body, a depth-adjustable stainless steel skid for clean and accurate working, and a custom designed clamping mechanism for an accurate and secure fit. Different guards are available and can be coupled to a wide range of grinders.

Guards designed to fit Hitachi brand grinders as standard. Guards for different brands available by special order. Custom flange nut sets are provided as standard with all C-Tec cowls to ensure the central positioning of the cutting blade.

C-Tec Options: Optional multi-blade spacer kits are available for larger cowls to accommodate twin blade operation. A custom 4-pin Tuff Key flange spanner is also available to enable quick and easy blade changes and which may be used in place of the standard 2-pin flange spanner provided by most grinder manufacturers.
