HeliBond
High performance, injectable, cementitious grout
HeliBond cementitious grout is a high performance, non-gassing, thixotropic cement based grout, suitable for injecting with a hand operated or pneumatic applicator.
HeliBond is supplied in a pail containing two packs of a dry powder and two containers of liquid, to make a total of either 3 or 4.5 litres of injectable grout depending on the chosen pack size. A smaller pail containing one bag of powder and one container of liquid, ready-to-mix to make 1.5 litres of grout is also available for smaller applications.
The HeliBond formulation, which includes an expansive system to compensate for shrinkage in the hardened state, develops almost half of its fully cured compressive strength after 24 hours.
Applications
- Bonding metal components into most common masonry type substrates including bricks, blocks, stone and concrete.
- Ideal for use with HeliBars for effective crack stitching.
- Injected simultaneously with versatile CemTies to produce a fully grouted tie.
Features and Benefits
- Non-shrink thixotropic grout.
- Flows easily under pressure to fill voids.
- Rapidly develops compressive strength.
- Cures to 60MPa.
- Ready-to-mix components supplied in two-pack sets for economical, easy use.
- May be used overhead.

Installation
Mixing
The liquid component should be emptied into the clean pail before introducing the powder. A mixing paddle attached to a low speed rotary drill should be used to ensure a complete blending. During this operation the HeliBond may appear to dry, but if the mixing is continued the correct consistency will be produced.
Application
Apply HeliBond with either a hand held manual or pneumatic pointing gun. Fit a 4mm or 9.5mm stainless steel nozzle when crack stitching. Fit a long series pinning nozzle when installing CemTies.

Cleaning
Clean HeliBond tools and equipment with water following use. Hardened HeliBond material may only be removed mechanically.
